This collection is intended as a modest tool vi learn and sing these wonderful texts that the liturgical and spiritual tradition of the Church has to offer. From Psalmwhich celebrates the glorious priestly investiture of the Messianic King to Psalm 97, which celebrates the Lord as King forever and who leads his people with strength and splendor. The name of God is the Lord means to affirm with force and with joy that God is all this, frisiina his presence to us is salvation and love, mercy and omnipotence, light and victory.

Each piece can be performed in different ways, depending on the capabilities and possibilities of choirs and individual performers. In the Nuovq of Faith, which we are about to experience, it is useful to return to this extraordinary text that the Magisterium gives us and invites us to make our own the pxne of the Church and to live in the difficulties and the challenges of our present culture.

Advent singing has a special role because it supports the expectation of the Church giving wings to soar to the wonderful Lord who comes.

Christ is the center of our faith, the source of our salvation. Pwne recent years, the Pope has given us a wonderful model of priestly life and above all has given many speeches and ideas for prayer and reflection on the priesthood of great beauty and importance. The liturgical project “Bread of life” is an invitation to join in this praise with heart living in the Eucharist, the source and summit of our life of grace.

Some classic texts of the tradition are restated, such as the sequence of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, in a translation and adaptation that tries to explain, in simple language, the great theological content of the Latin text. The Holy Father has recently shown in ei Marian prayer, especially the Rosary, one of the most powerful means to obtain from God the graces necessary and to implore his mercy to the world.

I wanted to publish this collection of songs during the Year for Priests indk it was not possible. This collection of songs contains the ordinary and some parts of the Proper of the Mass of Christmas, the day when the Church celebrates the coming of Christ the Savior.

We must offer it with the joy of our testimony, with the “hand” of our life capable of touching the heart and soul of even the most distant with the extraordinary power of Spirit of love and communion. While the text in John 15 reminds us that the Holy Communion is a sharing in God’s life passing us like the sap of the vine, which is Christ. Only love for God and for others authentically fills the heart of man with joy.

The Easter Triduum is the heart of the liturgical year. We experienced how music can help you to find the vjta of God, as the song can make us vibrate in harmony with His Word, making for a better understanding.

The Lord is the author of all beauty, is the light of all truth, for He lives and everything shines. Lord translates to pzne Greek word “Kyrios” in the liturgy and to ffisina Jewish “Jahweh. It is a hymn of thanksgiving and praise that spreads to all the members of the Church and uniting in a single mysterious melody different voices from all parts of the world, from all nations, from all languages.

The Resurrection is the triumph of the light of truth and love, and the joy of redemption pervades the universe and awakens in the heart of the world singing and praise. I wanted to insert two traditional melodies: These ancient hymns of the Christian tradition are of incomparable beauty, and it would be desirable for their rediscovery and re-use, within the limits of possibility.

These songs follow a route through the small Marian celebrations of the liturgical year, with particular attention to the texts of the hymns of the Liturgy of the Hours. These songs are a homage to the beauty of the Lord. If not exhaustive with respect to his complete musical repertoire, however, it represents a summary of important titles already so appreciated by all his affectionate public, an audience that has no boundaries now.

In this collection I wanted to pick some that speak to us of the mystery of the Incarnation: They are the result of the experience of friendship and prayer that for several years we have accomplished together in “prayer meetings” at the Roman Seminary, where we learned to appreciate more and more the joy of singing to the Lord.

panw Showing His perfections every, creature sings the praises of God. In addition to the parts of the Ordinary of the mass, some songs are presented whose text recalls the themes of the Year of Mercy. But on closer inspection, you will see that you can perform them using just a part for a soprano and solo only. Psalm 33 is a typical frisjna that expresses the wonder and joy of the frisiba who sees the love of God himself as a gift of grace in the Eucharist.

This collection of songs, performed at the XV World Youth Day event at the Tor Vergata Rome in the presence of Blessed John Paul II, is dedicated to those young people who have the mind and heart to reflect and think back to that wonderful experience. We find in it the source of joy and amazement and we draw from it the foundations of our faith because we recognize Jesus as the God made man for us, because in Him we find the meaning of our existence and the certainty of our redemption.

The more prepared will be able to use them instead in their complete form, and even lane the use of the orchestra.

I also wanted to include two beautiful prayers, one of them is present in the Missal between those of Thanksgiving “Post Missam,” the act of offering, “WelcomeSir,” the text of S.
