It’s a beautiful and heart-felt story that is filled with Millman’s great wisdoms and insights into life. This is a decent story of adventure, loss, and a man growing up in Tsarist Russia. Socrates’ journey is so much like many in life. Siddhartha socrages the socfates, visits Gotama, embraces his earthly desires, and finally communes with nature, all in an attempt to attain Nirvana. Socrates is reluctantly drawn into a final decisive battle with this nemesis, but there is a twist at the end to further complicate that event.

Believing in god’s will and power, one will find peace, happinessand justice in this mystery socratew. This book deserves more than 5 stars.

I wanted them to pay so badly, yet how foolish would it be to find solace in the same barbarity as the monsters? Thank you Sergei Ivanov of showing your anti-racism, love, courage, dream, journey, and humanity. Some great insights into life and a great ending.

The story begins with Sergei maturing into adulthood, from his school years to his time in St. However, I found this book to be the most readable of all. A Book That Changes Lives. In this final installment of the Peaceful Warrior series we learn about the man called Socrates and his life of extreme heartache and loss. The story depicts the connectedness of all that is creating in me at least a certain trust and surrender to the incomprehensible ways of existence, God, the higher power, whatever you want to call it.

In the end, we discover that the extraordinary is always found in the ordinary and simple ways of everyday people. It’s free and yours to keep.

Siddhartha and his companion Govinda set out in search of enlightenment. It’s a certain type of book that stays with you and you keep thinking about it and turning over all the details in your brain. After years of hard work these wise teachers teach Socrates how to live, breathe, forgive and find happiness.


Socrates can think of nothing else but revenge. Paulo Coelho’s enchanting novel has inspired a devoted following around the world. The title should be at least 4 characters long.

It’s a journey well worth it in the end. On a few occasions I found my jaw just dropping, putting down the book for a second to try and absorb what just happened, then quickly and eagerl If I could give this countless stars I would. The journey passes through the vast and varied landscape of Tsarist Russia as well as the emotional and spiritual terrain of the young protagonist.

All I’ll say is: Orphaned and distraught at having to stay in the school the young Socrates escapes. The Journeys of Socrates By: The only thing that I felt lacking in this wonderful story is some background of Dmitri and some insight into the reasons behind his actions.
