In Septemberwhen I got the call that Silhouette Desire wanted to buy my first book, Desert Warrior, it was a dream come true. I had to do an enormous amount of research for this book in two completely different fields — wine and flowers. This aspect of the book makes me squirm with vicarious humiliation – it’s an absolute turn-off, and an aspect I had a hard time getting past to continue reading on.
